As part of this premium hospitality development in Zimbabwe, designed by Architectural & Planning Studio and built by Kiggen Construction, Wolfenden Africa specified and supplied complete Ironmongery and Door Hardware Solutions tailored to a high performance hospitality environment.
In hospitality, hardware is not simply a finishing touch it is a constant point of interaction. Every door opened and every space transitioned through contributes to the overall guest experience. The objective was clear to deliver solutions that perform reliably while integrating seamlessly into the lodge’s architectural vision.
The scope included Hinges and Door Closers for durability and control, Pull Handles, Flush Pulls, and Lever Handles designed for both ergonomics and longevity. Supporting elements such as Bathroom Indicators, Dust Proof Strikes, Wall Buffers, Doorstops, Push and Kick Plates ensure consistent performance across both guest facing and operational areas.
One of the key project challenges was logistics. Coordinating production and shipping for on time delivery to a location as unique as Victoria Falls required careful planning and precision.
What defines Wolfenden Africa’s contribution is not only visibility, but consistency. The hardware does not compete with the architecture or surroundings it supports them, allowing the space to function effortlessly and ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Working alongside APS, this project highlights how thoughtful specification and attention to detail can elevate a hospitality environment beyond expectation.
